Pugmill Automation

In July of 2003, AMR designed and installed an automation system for a pugmill operation in Maryland. Listed below are several highlights and paramerters of the project, major equipment that was automated, and the major equipment and software AMR utilized in implementing the sytem.

Project Parameters and Highlights:

  • Automated control
    • 3" Diagonal LCD with keypad and eight function keys
    • Enter/change tons for load
    • Start/stop load cycle
  • Automatic meter the water and cement based on operation input.
