AMR Welcomes New Employees

American Mine Research, located in Rocky Gap, Virginia is excited to welcome two new employees to the AMR team. Jim Dunn is the newest addition to the Engineering Department. Jim brings with him 20 years of engineering experience. A graduate from North Carolina State University, Jim obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Jim’s previous employment includes: Eaton: Powerware Division (formally Exide Electronics, Inc.) where he was the Senior Software Technologist; ADC Telecommunications (formally Pairgain Technologies, Inc.) where he was the Software Engineering Manager/Senior Project Engineer; and Aviat Networks (formally Harris Stratex Networks) where he was the Senior Software Engineer. Jim also served in the United State Army as an Electronic Repair and Calibration Technician. AMR would like to welcome Jim, his wife Helen and their daughter Linda.

Ed Barber is the newest member of the AMR Sales Team. Ed attended East Tennessee State University and brings with him many years of experience. Previous employers include: Joy Technologies, where he was a Service Engineer and Sales Engineer, Jewell Smokeless Coal Corporation where he was the Maintenance Manager, Heintzmann Corporation as the Sales Manager, Ingersal Rand/Dyna Rock as the Sales Manager, Strata Products/Mine Services where he was the General Manager, and Electro Quip Services Corporation as the VP of Sales. Ed resides in Richlands, Virginia with his wife Peggy. He has two children Jason and Jill.
